Catering by Trostel is able to make each event unique and special, whether it is a Cowboy Cook-out or an elegant sit-down dinner. We have taken the best from each of our very different restaurants listed below and created a menu that meets any taste or budget. Plus our team of talented Chefs can create any dish using only the freshest ingredients.

We have catered weddings and corporate events as large as 1,000 guests and intimate dinners for 10. Our equipment and services include: Full Bar Service, Chafing Dishes, Cake Cutting, Riedel Wine Glassware, Linen Tablecloths and Napkins, China Plates, Flatware, Disposable Plates/Cutlery and Planning Consultation.

Our History

1987: greenbriar
The late Paul Trostel opened Trostel's Greenbriar, the first of Trostel's Restaurants. Greenbriar specializes in aged steaks, the best prime rib in town, seafood, pasta, Iowa elk, lamb and beef, as well as innovative weekly Chef Specials.

2005: trostel's dish
The final Trostel's Restaurant, Trostel's Dish, was opened. Trostel's Dish is an innovative small plate restaurant featuring contemporary dishes with fresh flavors from around the world including cracker crust pizzas, and the favorite Truffled Chicken Macaroni and Cheese.
